Charlie
CATTERALL
Founding Partner
With over 11 years experience in the real estate sector, Charlie has established himself as a leading hospitality advisor and founded ETCH. in 2019 with Richard.
Career highlights include acting on behalf of SWINGERS to secure their 28,000 sq ft Oxford Circus venue, HAWKSMOOR to acquire their largest UK restaurant in Canary Wharf, recording studio THE QUBE for their East London site, WONDERLAND to launch DC Comics experience ‘PARK ROW’ in Soho and THE MAINE from Dubai to open their flagship in Mayfair.
Charlie works closely on the growth strategy of a number of brands and is currently working alongside INCIPIO GROUP, ASMA KHAN, BLACKLOCK, SOM SAA, THE QUBE and MAAP.
Richard
WILLCOX
Founding Partner
Richard has 20 years experience in the real estate sector with 10 of those focussed purely on company growth strategies.
Richard represents brands including JOE & THE JUICE, FARMER J, DAROCO and YARDBIRD. He has helped JOE & THE JUICE grow to over 50 sites in the UK and 300 globally and worked with MJMK across their portfolio with CASA DO FRANGO, LA RAMPA, KOL, LISBOETA and ANGLO THAI.
Richard advises on global growth strategies and has worked on market entries across Europe, North America and Australia.
Kit
ALEXANDER
Partner
Kit Alexander has over 9 years of experience in the property sector. Since qualifying as a chartered surveyor in 2016 he has gone on to advise in the hospitality and retail sector.
Some of the higher profile transactions Kit has recently worked on include SUCRE and EASTCHEAP RECORDS in the City. In the past year Kit has assisted with group expansions and restructuring which has led to doing over 5 deals with CREAMS CAFE. Furthermore, Kit has worked with a number of expanding brands including INCIPIO and BONE DADDIES.
Kit’s other clients include ADDMIND, MAPLE & CO, HONEST GREENS AND ROCKET LEISURE.
Dan
HULL-SIEFF
Associate Partner
Dan has been at ETCH. from the start. His strong commercial knowledge, attention to detail, and personable approach has proved popular with clients.
He has played a leading role in JOE & THE JUICE’S recent property expansion – advising on multiple central London acquisitions, as well as diversifying the portfolio into affluent residential locations where the brand has thrived. His experience includes bringing new entrants to the market – securing CLAYS their debut site on Moorgate, and acquiring FAZENDA their first London site with a 10,000 sq ft space in The City.
Dan also works with brands such as boutique coffee company REDEMPTION ROASTERS– acquiring several sites for them across London. Dan’s other clients include THE SALAD PROJECT, MJMK, BAM KARAOKE and FARMER J.
Ben
MARTIN
Graduate Surveyor
Ben joined ETCH. in January 2022 as a Graduate Surveyor. As part of the agency team, he deals with acquisition of leisure/ food and beverage sites for a variety of clients including 1910 CANTINA, CREAMS CAFÉ, CRISS CROSS, VQ and JOE & THE JUICE.
Building on the experience gained during his time at the University of Reading where he studied Real Estate Investment and Finance, he is excited to further his knowledge and career at ETCH.
